Why Do I Love Graphic Design?

I remember in school, that moment that happens to me when creating. I log in, launch the program(s) I’m going to use, stretch while it loads, drink some water, and begin. I know where things should be, or discover where they should be. I complete task after task, I forget to drink. I’m fully present in the creating. Then something happens, and I stop. I’ve been working on these things for hours. I review my work, it looks good. I feel great, yet tired. But that’s okay, because it’s time to go home and I get to do it again tomorrow.

I’ve also worked in the real world, and know there will be interruptions, but still the joy of creating is immensely fulfilling.
